Objectives

 
Producing, processing, preserving, distributing, transporting and selling goods and products from its affiliated companies, and also, especially:
 
 
 
 
 
 
  • Purchasing, producing, preparing and accommodating animals, inputs, namely machines, tools, utensils, feed, food products, fertilizers and pesticides, as well as other products that are necessary and convenient in the pursuit of the goal of its affiliate cooperatives
  • Implementing and providing services in the economic, technical and administrative organization area, as well as placing and distributing the goods and products from its affiliated cooperatives
  • Creating the mutual farming and stock breeding insurance
  • Processing and selling milk and milk products, meat and any other products produced by the farming and stock breeding holdings from the members of its affiliated companies that are needed for public consumption either in or out of their social area
 
 
 
  • Providing Commercial Road Haulage Services, especially to companies in whose capital it has holdings. The União may, on a proposal from the Board to the General Assembly, purchase or process products from non-affiliated companies when that is deemed appropriate in the pursuit of the interests of its affiliated cooperatives. Additionally, the União may, on a proposal from the Board to the General Assembly, conduct activities associated with other areas of the cooperative sector, as long as those activities are aimed at satisfying the needs of its affiliated cooperatives.
